We are facing some serious problems in Minnesota, and I believe that the young leaders of today hold the key to moving our great state forward. You are the ones who will reinvigorate our economy; you are the ones who will make this state a regional leader, and we must do all we can to ensure that you have every opportunity to learn and grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

As a Mom of four recent college graduates (the fourth of which graduated this past year), I have seen first-hand the transformative power of a post-secondary education. Each and every young person in Minnesota should have the opportunity to learn at this high level regardless of their socioeconomic background, and without the crushing debt and joblessness that comes with it today.

Please join us in this important conversation. We owe it to the next generation to make higher education in Minnesota more affordable and accessible, and to improve the educational outcomes for all students.
